Million dollar winner following latest Powerball
Powerball’s jackpot is safe and sound following last night’s draw, as the grand prize will now grow to an estimated $83 million ($38.8 million) for Saturday’s draw.
In this latest draw, one lucky ticket holder has won a cool million dollars for matching five numbers, missing only on the Powerball, while also playing Powerplay and multiplying their winnings by five. Matching the same sequence without Powerplay earned one other ticket $200,000. In addition to these winners, four other tickets have won $50,000 each by matching four numbers plus Powerball/Powerplay; another 29 tickets have won $10,000 for the same sequence without Powerplay; 185 tickets matched four numbers with Powerplay for $5,000 each; while another 820 matched the same sequence without Powerplay for $1,000 each.
Once again, the winning Powerball numbers from the Oct. 25 draw were 16, 40, 42, 43 and 48 with a Powerball of 1. The next draw is Oct. 28.
