Powerball finds another jackpot winner
Once again, Powerball will award its jackpot to one lucky ticket holder – this time somewhere in Kansas - following the latest draw. Matching all six numbers will be good for $15 million for its owner, with a cash value of $7.2 million.
In addition, four other tickets holders matched five numbers - winning $200,000 each in the process - with three others winning $30,000 each for matching four numbers (plus the Powerball, while also playing Powerplay, tripling the cash prize). Matching the same sequence without Powerplay was good for $10,000 for 19 other tickets. All told, 377,760 tickets will share in more than $3.4 million.
Once again, the winning numbers from the Sept. 27 Powerballl draw were 23, 28, 33, 35 and 49 with a Powerball of 16. The next draw - with a jackpot of $15 million (cash value of $7.2 million) will take place Saturday, Sept. 30.
