Saturday’s Powerball drawing saw a half dozen more $200,000 winners for matching five numbers - but none hit the lucky six to claim the $28 million jackpot.

The next Powerball drawing on Wednesday, May 31 will now see a jackpot of $38 million ($16.9 million cash value).

In addition to the previously-mentioned winners, twenty tickets won $10,000 each for matching four numbers plus the Powerball, with two more winners playing the Powerplay option on that combo - and thereby tripling their winnings to $30,000 each as part of the most recent draw.

In total, $3.9 million in cash prizes were awarded.
